When Duane Eddy appeared recently at the Ponderosa Stomp, he was told to play his music like the originals. And here they are. This culmination of his period on Jamie Records includes hits like "Pepe," "Drivin' Home" and "Gidget Goes Hawaiian." the English version of the original album also had "Ring of Fire," "The Avenger" and "Londonderry Aire" ("Danny Boy"), all of which are also in this CD. Bonus tracks include previously unreleased versions of these songs plus singles by Mirriam Johnson, whom Duane produced and married at the time of this album.
